Performance Description
Our company distinguishes itself from other concrete companies because we provide a level of service that is not commonplace in the concrete business. We go the extra mile to provide our customers with a quality product. When pouring any concrete, we use 1” rock instead of pea gravel which adds strength to the cement. Pea gravel tends to cause concrete to shrink and crack whereas the 1” rock does not. We don’t pour any concrete wetter than a 5” slump which also strengthens the concrete and allows it to set firmly. When we saw-cut for pattern stamp, we include colored polymer in the expansion joints. This provides a cleaner and more finished look because the joints don’t stand out and detract from the overall look of the stamp. We also recommend and prefer to use rebar as an option for most projects, which provides reinforcement for the concrete, gives additional strength and support to help minimize cracking and separating, and helps absorb and distribute the tension created when concrete expands and contracts.
